Oaxaca Special Festivals

Oaxaca has for major festivals each year that bring many to visit:

GUELAGUETZA FESTIVAL, is the most famous Folk festival of Mexico, in July most ethnic nations of the state of Oaxaca come to the city to make special dance presentations, food fairs, craft fairs and a very festive set of events. DAY OF THE DEAD, in late October early November is awe inspire ring in Oaxaca. Many spend an entire night in their cemeteries with their families, parades, special markets, altars in homes, bands all over neighborhoods… are among some of many events.

CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL brings a special love in the religious adoption of the Nativity of Christ and special parades and festivals are made to celebrate. HOLY WEEK brings a special mix of activities, processions and cultural events that many love to see in Oaxaca.
